Ahh love. Everyone knows that work and romance don’t mix, except that according to one poll, 22% of married couples in the U.S. met at work. Our own informal research (i.e. talking to our friends, colleagues, and clients) tells us that workplace romances are more likely to happen in places where you have a lot of young people, and also places where you have a lot of creative people. It may feel a little uncomfortable at first to insert yourself into your employees’ romantic lives, but you do have a responsibility to protect the company. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love will definitely be in the air.  Make sure your office is prepared to handle Cupid’s arrival.
